Salaries of District Engineers and Division Superintendents
Republic Act No. 4422, enacted on June 19, 1965, amends Section 5 of Republic Act No. 3719, establishing salary regulations for district engineers and division superintendents in the Philippines. The law ensures that incumbent provincial and city officials, whose appointments were confirmed prior to this Act, automatically benefit from its provisions without requiring further confirmation, while also protecting them from salary reductions. Additionally, it sets salary rates for newly created positions of district engineers and division superintendents based on the class of the district. The Act takes effect upon its approval.
