Rules Governing Appointment of Personnel of the National Economic and Development Authority

LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 100

In the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 1, as amended, particularly Part VI, Article III, Sec. 12 regarding the appointment of non-technical and non-professional personnel of the National Economic and Development Authority, the following rules shall apply: cdt
1. Non-technical and non-professional personnel but without civil service eligibility from the abolished agencies (Presidential Economic Staff and National Economic Council) may be appointed to the National Economic and Development Authority on a temporary basis until they shall have qualified in an appropriate civil service examination within a period of two years. casia
2. For purposes of this Letter of Instructions non-technical and non-professional positions shall pertain to: (1) position the duties and responsibilities of which are involved in providing administrative or auxiliary and supportive services; or (b) positions which involve clerical, laboring or general utility work. All others not included above shall be considered as technical and professional positions.
Any provision of any decree, letter of instructions, general order, letter of implementation or any other provision of law, rules or regulations inconsistent herewith is hereby modified accordingly.
