Resolution No. 2, Series 1997 of the Dangerous Drugs Board
OCA Circular No. 69-97 provides guidance to judges regarding the Dangerous Drugs Board's Resolution No. 2, Series 1997, which reaffirms previous regulations concerning the control of Ephedrine and Pseudoephedrine due to their association with the production of methamphetamine ("shabu"). The resolution states that any quantities exceeding the therapeutic doses (25-50 mg for Ephedrine and 15-120 mg for Pseudoephedrine) are considered beyond medical necessity.
