LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 454

In order to further expedite the implementation of the government development projects on Calauit Island and Busuanga Island, Municipalities of Coron and New Busuanga, province of Palawan, the Secretary of Natural Resources is hereby authorized to use funds appropriated for his Department and such funds as may hereafter be provided to compensate the value of improvements of various settlers within the projects and to resettle them in areas found to be suitable for the purpose. cdt
Disposition of lots to the displaced settlers in the selected resettlement sites shall be in accordance with the Public Land Act. The displaced settlers shall be exempt from the payment of application fees, registration fees, and all other initial fees required for the registration of their land patents. casia
All Letters of Instructions, Executive Orders, Department Orders or Circulars, Rules and Regulations or parts thereof that are inconsistent herewith are hereby revoked or modified accordingly.
This Letter of Instructions shall take effect immediately.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 31st day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Six.
