Requirement for Registered and Licensed Architects to Submit Their Valid Certificates of UAP Membership
The PRC Board of Architecture Resolution No. 02-05 mandates that registered and licensed architects must submit their valid certificates of membership in the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) and official payment receipts for annual or lifetime dues as a prerequisite for obtaining or renewing their Certificates of Registration and Professional Identification Cards. This requirement is in accordance with the provisions of the Architecture Act of 2004, which integrates the profession into a national organization and ensures automatic membership for licensed architects. The resolution aims to confirm compliance with membership obligations and facilitate the issuance of professional credentials. It will take effect 15 days after publication in the Official Gazette or a widely circulated newspaper.
