Sirs/Mesdames :

Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated January 17, 2012, which reads as follows: ITDSAE

"A.M. No. 09-8-6-SC (Re: Request for Copy of 2008 Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth [SALN] and Personal Data Sheet or Curriculum Vitae of the Justices of the Supreme Court and Officers and Employees of the Judiciary) and A.M. No. 09-8-07-CA (Re: Request of Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism [PCIJ] for the 2008 Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth [SALN] and Personal Data Sheets of the Court of Appeals Justices). — The Court Resolved to NOTE the:

(a) 1st Indorsement dated December 22, 2011 of Associate Justice Mariano C. Del Castillo, forwarding to Atty. Enriqueta E. Vidal, Clerk of Court En Banc, the letter dated December 19, 2011 of Mr. Harvey S. Keh, Lead Convenor, Kaya Natin Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership, for proper disposition of the Court En Banc;

(b) Aforesaid Letter of Mr. Keh, separately addressed to Chief Justice Renato C. Corona and Associate Justices Presbitero J. Velasco, Jr., Teresita J. Leonardo-De Castro, Arturo D. Brion, Diosdado M. Peralta, Mariano C. Del Castillo and Jose P. Perez;

(c) 1st Indorsement dated December 22, 2011 of Atty. Emmanuel Jesus P. Santos, referring to Atty. Vidal the letter dated December 21, 2011 of Ms. Glenda M. Gloria, Executive Director, Newsbreak, for inclusion in the Agenda; CDAEHS

(d) Aforesaid Letter of Ms. Gloria, requesting for copies of the SALN of the Members of this Court;

(e) 1st Indorsement dated January 3, 2012 of Justice Del Castillo, forwarding to Atty. Vidal the letter dated January 3, 2012 of Mr. Phillipe Manalang of Unlimited Productions, Incorporated for proper disposition of the Court En Banc;

(f) Letter dated January 4, 2012 of Emiliana Anthony Kenneth Z. Lejano III, Judicial Staff Head, Office of Associate Justice Teresita J. Leonardo-De Castro, addressed to Atty. Vidal, endorsing the same letter of Mr. Manalang;

(g) Letter dated January 12, 2012 of Justice Velasco, Jr., referring for appropriate action the same letter of Mr. Manalang; aIHSEc

(h) Aforesaid Letter of Mr. Manalang, separately addressed to Justices Leonardo-De Castro, Del Castillo, Perez and Atty. Vidal, requesting for copies of the SALN of the Members of this Court for the years 2010 and 2011;

(i) Letter dated January 9, 2012 of` Andre E. Figuracion, News Correspondent I, Solar News, Ground Floor, Worldwide Corporate Center, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, addressed to Atty. Vidal, requesting for a copy of the SALN of Chief Justice Renato C. Corona for the years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 in preparation for the coverage of the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Corona;

(j) Letter dated January 13, 2012 of Hon. Elpidio Barzaga, Jr., Member, Prosecution Panel, House of Representatives, Quezon City, addressed to Atty. Vidal, requesting in behalf of the House of Representatives Prosecution Panel certified true copies of the SALN Chief Justice Corona; and

(k) Letter dated December 19, 2011 of Malou Mangahas, Executive Director, Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism, 3/F Criselda Bldg. II, 207 Scout de Guia St., 1104 Quezon City, addressed to Chief Justice Corona, requesting for copies of the SALN and Personal Data Sheets/Curriculum Vitae of the Members of the Supreme Court, reckoned from the years they were appointed to the present. The Court further Resolved to REQUIRE the Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals, Philippine Judges Association, Metropolitan and City Judges Association of the Philippines, Philippine Trial Judges League and Philippine Women Judges Association to COMMENT on the matter within ten (10) days from notice hereof."
