ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 262

PROVIDING FOR THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE COMMITTEE FOR ACCREDITATION OF CARGO SURVEYING COMPANIES

WHEREAS, Administrative Order No. 243 created the Committee for Accreditation of Cargo Surveying Companies composed of: TaDSHC

1. Authorized representative from the Office of the President

2. Authorized representative of the Secretary of Finance

3. Deputy Commissioner of Customs authorized by the Commissioner

4. Two (2) authorized representatives of duly recognized industry associations

WHEREAS, Section 31, Chapter 10, Title III, Book III of Executive Order Number 292, otherwise known as the Administrative Code of 1987 expressly grants the President the continuing authority to reorganize the executive branch of the government;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA M. ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

The highest ranking member of the Committee for Accreditation of Cargo Surveying Companies shall be the Chairman of the Committee.
