Placing the PCSO Under the Supervision and Control of the DOH
Executive Order No. 621, issued on May 8, 2007, places the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) under the supervision and control of the Department of Health (DOH). This move aims to enhance coordination between the PCSO and DOH, as both are involved in funding health programs and medical assistance. The order also repeals the previous Executive Order No. 520, which had placed the PCSO under the Office of the President. This directive takes effect immediately, streamlining the oversight of health-related charity initiatives in the Philippines.
