Piat National High School in Piat, Cagayan
Republic Act No. 8940, enacted on August 22, 2000, establishes the Piat National High School in the Municipality of Piat, Cagayan. The school will operate under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS). Funding for the school's establishment will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the year following the law's enactment and in subsequent years. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 30, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8940
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PIAT, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, TO BE KNOWN AS THE PIAT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS), a national high school in the Municipality of Piat, Province of Cagayan, to be known as the Piat National High School.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. AaHcIT
