REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4622
AN ACT REQUIRING THE PAYMENT OF THE REGULAR DAILY WAGES OF GOVERNMENT LABORERS AND EMPLOYEES DURING ALL SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAYS, WHETHER LOCAL OR NATIONAL
SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, all laborers and employees of the Philippine Government, whether on the national, provincial, local or city level, including laborers and employees of government-owned or controlled corporations, whether their employment is permanent or temporary in nature, shall be paid their regular daily wages during all special public holidays, local or national.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cdt
