Nereo R. Joaquin National High School in Barangay Malaban, Biñan, Laguna
Republic Act No. 8933, enacted on August 22, 2000, establishes the Nereo R. Joaquin National High School in Barangay Malaban, Bian, Laguna. The school will operate under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS). Funding for the school will be included in the General Appropriations Act starting the year after the law's enactment. The Act takes effect upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 30, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8933
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MALABAN, BIÑAN, LAGUNA TO BE KNOWN AS THE NEREO R. JOAQUIN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) a national high school in Barangay Malaban, Biñan, Laguna to be known as the Nereo R. Joaquin National High School.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. EIDATc
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
