Republic Act No. 8930, enacted on August 22, 2000, establishes the Salcedo National High School in the Municipality of Salcedo, Province of Ilocos Sur. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports is tasked with issuing necessary rules and regulations to implement the Act. Funding for the school will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the year following the law's enactment and thereafter. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on March 19, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8930
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SALCEDO, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There is hereby established a national high school in the Municipality of Salcedo, Province of Ilocos Sur to be known as the Salcedo National High School. ScAaHE
SECTION 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. DHITSc
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
