Malaking Ilog National High School in San Pascual, Masbate
Republic Act No. 9627, enacted on May 13, 2009, establishes a national high school in Barangay Malaking Ilog, Municipality of San Pascual, Province of Masbate, named Malaking Ilog National High School. The Department of Education is tasked with its supervision and operationalization, with funding to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Secretary of Education is also responsible for issuing necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of the Act. The law takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9627
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MALAKING ILOG, MUNICIPALITY OF SAN PASCUAL, PROVINCE OF MASBATE TO BE KNOWN AS MALAKING ILOG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. Establishment of a National High School. — There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, a national high school in Barangay Malaking Ilog, Municipality of San Pascual, Province of Masbate to be known as Malaking Ilog National High School.
SECTION 2. Appropriations. — The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Malaking Ilog National High School, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 3. Implementation. — The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations that may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 4. Effectivity. — This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
