Libayoy National High School in Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur
Republic Act No. 9564, enacted on April 17, 2009, establishes the Libayoy National High School in Barangay Libayoy, Municipality of Tigbao, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, under the supervision of the Department of Education. The Act mandates the Secretary of Education to include the school’s operational funding in the annual General Appropriations Act. Additionally, the Secretary is responsible for issuing necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of this Act. It takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9564
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY LIBAYOY, MUNICIPALITY OF TIGBAO, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR TO BE KNOWN AS LIBAYOY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. Establishment of a National High School. — There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, a national high school in Barangay Libayoy, Municipality of Tigbao, Province of Zamboanga del Sur to be known as Libayoy National High School.
SECTION 2. Appropriations. — The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Libayoy National High School, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 3. Implementation. — The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations that may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 4. Effectivity. — This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
