Letter of Implementation No. 141
Letter of Implementation No. 141, issued on December 12, 1982, amends previous regulations by granting authorized personnel of the National Intelligence and Security Authority the power to investigate cases. LETTER OF IMPLEMENTATION NO. 141

Letter of Implementation No. 52-A is hereby further amended by adding Section 25-A, to read as follows:
"Section 25-A. The personnel duly authorized by the Director General to investigate a case shall have the power to take and require sworn statements of any person or persons so summoned by subpoena ad testificandum and subpoena duces tecum in relation to cases under investigation, subject to constitutional restriction.
Anyone, who, without lawful excuse, fails to appear upon summons issued under the authority of this Section and that of the preceding Section or who refuses to produce documents for inspection, when thereunto lawfully authorized or directed, shall be subject to discipline as in case of contempt of court and upon application of the individual or body exercising the power in question shall be dealt with by the Court of First Instance having jurisdiction of the case in the manner provided by law."
