Lemery National High School in Lemery, Iloilo
Republic Act No. 8541, enacted on February 23, 1998, establishes the Lemery National High School in the Municipality of Lemery, Iloilo. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is tasked with issuing necessary regulations for the school's operation. Funding for the school is to be included in the General Appropriations Act for the subsequent year and beyond. This act took effect upon its approval and lapsed into law without presidential signature, as per the Constitution.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8541
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LEMERY, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LEMERY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school in the Municipality of Lemery, Province of Iloilo, to be known as the Lemery National High School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
