Issuance of Court Processes Relative to Records on Firearms and Explosives
OCA Circular No. 1-98, issued on January 2, 1998, directs all Philippine judges and justices to address court processes related to firearms and explosives records specifically to the Chief of the Records Branch of the Firearms and Explosives Division. This change aims to streamline the process, as personnel from the Records Branch are typically present in court to provide testimony regarding firearm licensing and related issues. The circular emphasizes the importance of accurately directing summonses and other legal documents to ensure proper handling of information regarding firearms and explosives. All courts are instructed to adhere to this updated protocol.

| SUBJECT | : | Issuance of Court Processes Relative to Records on Firearms and Explosives |
PNP Director General Recaredo A.
