REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11208
AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF RIZAL MEDICAL CENTER IN PASIG CITY FROM THREE HUNDRED (300) TO FIVE HUNDRED (500) BEDS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The authorized bed capacity of the Rizal Medical Center (RMC) in Pasig City is hereby upgraded from three hundred (300) to five hundred (500) beds.
SECTION 2. The existing medical equipment and facilities, its operating funds and construction of the needed infrastructure of the RMC are hereby upgraded to conform with and commensurate to the increase in bed capacity as provided in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. The increase in bed capacity of RMC from three hundred (300) to five hundred (500) beds shall be implemented for a period of not more than three (3) years from the approval of this Act. The Secretary of Health shall immediately include in the Department's programs the said implementation, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. cEaSHC
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
