Increased Salary for Positions in the Tariff Commission
Memorandum Order No. 75-C, dated March 26, 1987, authorizes salary increases for positions in the Tariff Commission, granting a 5% raise for Career Executive Service positions and a 30% increase for rank and file positions. This adjustment is contingent upon utilizing savings from personal services allotments and maintaining a 5% salary gap between superior and subordinate roles. The Tariff Commission is required to submit a personnel plantilla reflecting these changes for verification, with any excess payments subject to refund. The salary adjustments take effect from January 1, 1987, and will replace allowances not applicable under the OP Pay Plan, with implementation guidelines to be issued by the Secretary of Budget and Management.
