Increase in Number of Asst. Provincial Fiscals in Eastern, Northern and Western Samar

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5483

AN ACT INCREASING THE NUMBER OF ASSISTANT PROVINCIAL FISCALS IN THE PROVINCES OF EASTERN SAMAR, NORTHERN SAMAR AND WESTERN SAMAR, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION SIXTEEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-FOUR OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AS AMENDED

SECTION 1. Section sixteen hundred seventy-four of the Administrative Code, as amended, is further amended by inserting after the subparagraph relative to the number of assistant provincial fiscals in the Province of Romblon, the following new subparagraphs, to read as follows:

"Eastern Samar, six assistant provincial fiscals;

"Northern Samar, six assistant provincial fiscals;

"Western Samar, six assistant provincial fiscals; cd i

SECTION 2. There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sums as may be necessary to pay the share of the National Government for the positions provided for in this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-eight. Appropriations for the succeeding fiscal years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
