Increase in Bed Capacity of Surigao Provincial Hospital and Siargao Community Hospital

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4740

AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE SURIGAO PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SURIGAO, AND THE SIARGAO COMMUNITY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DAPA, BOTH IN THE PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The bed capacity of the Surigao Provincial Hospital in the Municipality of Surigao, and the Siargao Community Hospital in the Municipality of Dapa, both in the Province of Surigao del Norte, are hereby increased to one hundred beds and fifty beds, respectively. cd i

SECTION 2. The sum of three hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said hospitals during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of these hospitals shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
