Increase in Bed Capacity of General Santos Emergency Hospital
Batas Pambansa Blg. 571, enacted on June 24, 1983, increases the bed capacity of the General Santos Emergency Hospital from 75 to 100 beds. The funding for the construction and operation of this expansion, not exceeding 750,000 pesos, will be sourced from appropriations designated for new or expanded hospitals under Batas Pambansa Blg. 230. Future operational and maintenance costs will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Act takes effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 30, 1984.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 571
AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE GENERAL SANTOS EMERGENCY HOSPITAL FROM SEVENTY-FIVE TO ONE HUNDRED BEDS
SECTION 1. The bed capacity of the General Santos Emergency Hospital in the City of General Santos shall be increased to one hundred beds.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. cd i
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
