Inclusion of Dagat-Dagatan as Area for Priority Development and Urban Land Reform Zone

PROCLAMATION NO. 2284

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 1967 BY INCLUDING DAGAT-DAGATAN AS AREA FOR PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT AND URBAN LAND REFORM ZONE

WHEREAS, pursuant to Sec. 4 of P.D. No. 1517, the entire Metropolitan Manila was declared as Urban Land Reform Zone under Proclamation No. 1893 and 244 sites thereat were specified as Areas for Priority Development and Urban Land Reform Zones under Proclamation No. 1967;

WHEREAS, to vigorously implement programs and projects under the aforesaid decree, LOI 932 was issued to provide sources of funds for the purpose; and

WHEREAS, Dagat-Dagat in Metro Manila wherein programs and projects within the context of Urban Land Reform are on-going was inadvertently omitted in the declaration of sites as Areas for Priority Development and Urban Land Reform Zones;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and existing laws, and in relation to Proclamation No. 1893 declaring the entire Metropolitan Manila area as an Urban Land Reform Zone, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 1967 by including Dagat-Dagatan among the sites in Metro Manila declared as Areas for Priority Development and Urban Land Reform Zones, the technical description of which is attached as Annex "A" and made an integral part of this Proclamation.
