| SUBJECT | : | Implementation of Department of Environment and Natural Resources Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2010-13: Amendments to Section 16 (Ancestral Lands) and to Chapter XIV (Development of Mining Communities, Sciences and Mining Technology) of DAO No. 96-40, as Amended, the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 7942, Otherwise Known as the "Philippine Mining Act of 1995" |
As a matter of policy, DAO No. 2010-13 shall be applied to Social Development and Management Programs (SDMPs) that are undergoing evaluation or to be submitted for evaluation after its effectivity. Thus, all mining contractors and permit holders with SDMPs approved prior to the effectivity of DAO No. 2010-13 shall not be covered by the said DAO and shall, therefore, be allowed to implement said SDMPs until their expiration: Provided, That the renewed SDMPs shall be subject to the provisions of DAO No. 2010-13.
