LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 19-A

          Municipal Mayors

In order to facilitate the implementation of the programs of reforms on public health, safety and peace and order caused by squatters and effect the prompt implementation of Letter of Instructions No. 19 dated October 2, 1972, the Presidential Coordinating Committee on Housing and Urban Resettlement created and constituted by Executive Order No. 215 dated March 7, 1970 as amended by Executive Order No. 343 dated October 13, 1971 shall serve as a continuing Coordinating Committee to implement instructions in aforecited Letter of Instructions. acd

To maximize the efficiency of all agencies concerned and insure rational allocation of resources, the following functions are assigned to the various government agencies involved in solving the squatter problems:
