IATF-EID RESOLUTION NO. 062, S. 2020
WHEREAS, on April 30, 2020, the Office of the Executive Secretary issued Executive Order (E.O.) No. 112 Imposing an Enhanced Community Quarantine in High-Risk Geographic Areas of the Philippines and a General Community Quarantine in the Rest of the Country from 01 to 15 May 2020, Adopting the Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation Thereof, and for Other Purposes;
WHEREAS, on May 23, 2020, pursuant to the authority granted to the IATF under E.O. 112, the IATF issued and published amended Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of the Community Quarantine in the Philippines;
WHEREAS, due to developments in the situation of the COVID-19 health event in the country, further amendments are required to further streamline the government's response to the pandemic;
WHEREAS, as of 12 August 2020, there are Seventy-Two Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Eight (72,348) active cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that to further operationalize the national government-enabled, local government-led, and people-centered response against COVID-19, the following IATF members are hereby assigned to provide stronger support to local government units with areas identified with high community transmission, inasmuch as to strictly monitor health system performance, critical care capacity, and stringent compliance to surveillance, isolation, and treatment protocols:

RESOLVED FURTHER, the IATF approves the following:
A. The resumption of the Part II of the testing activities for the Qualifying Assessment (QA) for Foreign Medical Professionals tentatively scheduled on 19 September 2020 by the Professional Regulation Commission is ratified. Provided that, the approved examinations to be held on 19-21 September 2020 for the Physician Licensure Examination and QA shall proceed only in areas under General Community Quarantine and/or Modified General Community Quarantine. Strict health protocols as may be approved by the Department of Health shall be observed. Agencies are directed to render full assistance for the safe and successful conduct of the examinations; and
B. The recommendation of the Department of Agriculture to jointly issue a memorandum circular with the Department of the Interior and Local Government to give guidance and advisory to the local government units to establish and organize the LGU-led local rice task force for the proper implementation and monitoring of the rice program is hereby endorsed.
RESOLVED FINALLY, the Chairperson and the Co-Chairperson shall be duly authorized to sign for and on behalf of the Inter-Agency Task Force.
APPROVED during the 62nd Inter-Agency Task Force Meeting, as reflected in the minutes of the meeting, held this 12th of August 2020 via video conference.

4. I am the custodian of the records of the IATF, including the Minutes of Meetings and Resolutions;
5. In the Regular Meeting of the IATF held on 12 August 2020 via teleconference during which a quorum was present and acted throughout, IATF Resolution No. 62 was unanimously approved and adopted;
6. The foregoing resolution has been signed by Secretary Francisco T. Duque III and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei B. Nograles upon authority of the IATF Members;
7. The aforesaid resolution has not been altered, modified nor revoked and the same is now in full force and effect;
