Hold-Over Capacity of the Executive Judges and Vice Executive Judges [A.O. No. 32-2009 Dated 4 March 2009]
OCA Circular No. 31-11, issued on February 11, 2011, addresses the hold-over capacity of Executive and Vice Executive Judges in the Philippines. Following Administrative Order No. 32-2009, these judges were initially designated until December 31, 2010. Due to the absence of new designations, the current Executive and Vice Executive Judges will continue to fulfill their duties in a hold-over capacity until successors are appointed or their designations are revoked or extended. OCA CIRCULAR NO. 31-11
| TO | : | All Executive Judges, Vice Executive Judges, and Judges of the First and Second Level Courts |
| SUBJECT | : | Hold-Over Capacity of the Executive Judges and Vice Executive Judges [A.O. No. 32-2009 dated 4 March 2009] |
Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 32-2009 dated 4 March 2009, the Court designated Executive and Vice Executive Judges "effective 4 March 2009 and to continue until December 31, 2010, or until their successors are hereafter designated, unless their herein designations are sooner revoked or otherwise extended by the Court."
Considering that the Court has not yet designated judges to succeed the Executive and Vice Executive Judges designated in Administrative Order No. 32-2009, or those designated thereafter, they shall CONTINUE to ACT and PERFORM their duties and responsibilities as such, in a hold-over capacity, until their successors are designated, unless their designations are sooner revoked or otherwise extended by the Court.
