PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 133
PRESCRIBING A HEAVY PENALTY FOR THE THEFT OF ANY MATERIAL, SPARE PART, PRODUCT OR ARTICLE BY EMPLOYEES AND LABORERS
In line with the government's program of eradicating graft and corruption in society, and promote the economic and social welfare of the people, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution as Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and General Order No. 1, dated September 22, 1972, as amended, do hereby order and decree that any employee or laborer who shall steal any material, spare part, product or article that he is working on, using or producing shall, upon conviction, be punished with imprisonment ranging from prision correccional to prision mayor. cd i
All laws inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed or modified accordingly, unless the same provide a heavier penalty.
This Decree is hereby made a part of the law of the land and shall take effect immediately after the publication thereof in a newspaper of general circulation.
