Guidelines for the Pre-Requisite Subjects in the Basic Law Courses
LEB Memorandum Order No. 05-16, issued on December 29, 2016, outlines the guidelines for prerequisite subjects in basic law courses mandated by the Legal Education Board (LEB). The memorandum specifies a table that delineates which prerequisite subjects must be completed before students can enroll in advanced law courses. It emphasizes that no credits will be awarded for advanced subjects unless the corresponding prerequisites are passed. Students who began their law studies prior to the memorandum's enactment will still be subject to these prerequisites starting in the 2017-2018 academic year.
