Further Amending Act No. 1870

ACT NO. 2483
AN ACT FURTHER TO AMEND ACT NUMBERED EIGHTEEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY, BY AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES TO RECEIVE IN TRUST LEGACIES, GIFTS, AND DONATIONS OF REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OF ANY KIND
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:
SECTION 1. Section six of Act Numbered Eighteen hundred and seventy, as amended by Act Numbered Two thousand and twenty-four, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following section:
"(i) To receive in trust legacies, gifts, and donations of real and personal property of all kinds and to administer the same for the benefit of the University, or of a department thereof, or for aid to any student or students, in accordance with the direction or instructions of the donor, and, in default thereof, in such manner as the Board of Regents may in its discretion determine." THESAD
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect on its passage.
