AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE EYE AND EAR INFIRMARY FOUNDATION, INC., TO CONDUCT A FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 1, 1981 TO OCTOBER 31, 1982
WHEREAS, the Philippine Eye and Ear Infirmary Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization which extends medical assistance to indigent people throughout the country afflicted with varying degrees of blindness and eye ailments, as well as those with ear, nose and throat diseases;
WHEREAS, said foundation is likewise engaged in providing assistance to medical practitioners to pursue specialized studies in the field of ophthalmology and related sciences; and
WHEREAS, said organization needs public support to enable it to carry on with its laudable objectives;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorized the Philippine Eye and Ear Infirmary Foundation, Inc., to conduct a fund campaign during the period from November 1, 1981 to October 31, 1982.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
