Flexible Working Hours for Muslim Judges and Lower Court Personnel during the Holy Month of Ramadan
OCA Circular No. 141-2023, issued on March 29, 2023, allows Muslim judges and lower court personnel in the Philippines to adopt flexible working hours during Ramadan. In view of the approved Memorandum of Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo dated 24 March 2023, Muslim Judges and lower court personnel are allowed to report to work from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. without break, from Mondays to Fridays during and up to the end of the holy month of Ramadan. This work schedule may also be availed of by those who are on duty on Saturdays.
