Fixing the Salaries of COMELEC Chairman and Members, CIR Judges, Judicial Superintendent and Asst. Solicitors General

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6066
AN ACT FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ON ELECTIONS, THE JUDGES OF THE COURT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, THE JUDICIAL SUPERINTENDENT AND THE ASSISTANT SOLICITORS GENERAL, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. The annual salary of the Chairman of the Commission on Elections is hereby fixed at twenty-six thousand pesos, the members of the said Commission and the Presiding Judge of the Court of Industrial Relations at twenty-four thousand pesos, the Associate Judges of the said court at twenty-three thousand pesos, and the Judicial Superintendent and the Assistant Solicitors General at twenty thousand pesos.
SECTION 2. Such sum as may be necessary is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to provide for the salary increase authorized in Section one hereof.
SECTION 3. All laws or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby amended accordingly.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
