Finality of Decisions of the National Historical Commission on Naming and Renaming of Historical Edifices and Landmarks

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 106
DECLARING AS FINAL AND BINDING THE DECISIONS OF THE NATIONAL HISTORICAL COMMISSION ON THE NAMING AND RENAMING OF HISTORICAL EDIFICES AND LANDMARKS
By virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution as Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081 dated September 21, 1972, and General Order No. 1 dated September 22, 1972, do hereby decree as final and binding all decisions of the National Historical Commission on the naming and renaming of historical edifices and landmarks: Provided, That its decision with respect to the naming and renaming of streets and plazas shall be recommendatory. acd
All provisions of laws, executive orders or regulations inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
This Decree is hereby made part of the laws of the land and shall take effect immediately. cdt
DONE in the City of Manila, this 24th day of January, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Three.
