Republic Act No. 9557, enacted on April 17, 2009, establishes the Felimon M. Salcedo, Sr. Memorial National High School in Barangay Salcedo, Municipality of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro. The school will operate under the supervision of the Department of Education, which is tasked with including its funding in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Secretary of Education is also authorized to issue necessary rules and regulations for the school's implementation. The Act takes effect 15 days after publication in the Official Gazette.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY SALCEDO, MUNICIPALITY OF BANSUD, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO TO BE KNOWN AS FELIMON M. SALCEDO, SR. MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. Establishment of a National High School. — There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, a national high school in Barangay Salcedo, Municipality of Bansud, Province of Oriental Mindoro to be known as Felimon M. Salcedo, Sr. Memorial National High School (FMSSMNHS).
SECTION 2. Appropriations. — The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of Felimon M. Salcedo, Sr. Memorial National High School, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 3. Implementation. — The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 4. Effectivity. — This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
