Extension of National Fund Campaign Period of the Philippine National Shooting Association

PROCLAMATION NO. 2470

FURTHER EXTENDING THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL SHOOTING ASSOCIATION (PNSA)

WHEREAS, the Philippine National Shooting Association (PNSA) was authorized under Proclamation No. 2403 dated 20 March 1985 to conduct a national fund campaign;

WHEREAS, said Presidential Proclamation is due to expire on 31 December 1985 while the Association is still in its crucial stage of attaining the goal of the fund campaign which is to develop among Filipino shooters the highest degree of excellence in the sport for international competitions;

WHEREAS, the Association needs more time to realize its fund campaign goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national fund campaign of the Philippine National Shooting Association for another year, from January 1 to December 1986.

I call upon all citizens of the Philippines, shooting enthusiasts, all sport-minded individuals, government entities and private corporations to give generously of their means to this laudable undertaking. This fund campaign is hereby exempted from the provisions of LOI 828, No. 2(c).
