Republic Act No. 7595, enacted on June 1, 1992, upgrades the Arakan Valley Municipal Hospital in Cotabato to a twenty-five bed capacity district hospital, now known as the Arakan Valley District Hospital. The law mandates that the necessary funding for this conversion be included in the General Appropriations Act following its enactment. Furthermore, provisions for the hospital's maintenance and operation will also be incorporated into future annual appropriations. The Act became effective upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on July 20, 1992.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7595

AN ACT UPGRADING AND CONVERTING THE PRESENT ARAKAN VALLEY MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL IN THE PROVINCE OF COTABATO, INTO A TWENTY-FIVE BED CAPACITY DISTRICT HOSPITAL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE ARAKAN VALLEY DISTRICT HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The Arakan Valley Municipal Hospital in the Municipality of Antipas, Province of Cotabato, is hereby upgraded and converted into a twenty-five bed capacity district hospital, to be known as the Arakan Valley District Hospital.

SECTION 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SECTION 3. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the maintenance and operation of the said hospital shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
