Establishment of the Rizal National Agricultural School in Rizal Province
Republic Act No. 1560, enacted on June 16, 1956, establishes the Rizal National Agricultural School in the Province of Rizal, under the supervision of the Director of Public Schools. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1560
AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Schools, a national agricultural school in the Province of Rizal, at a site to be selected by said Director, to be known as the Rizal National Agricultural School. Said school shall be of the Central Luzon Agricultural College type. casia
SECTION 2. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Schools, the President of the Philippines shall set aside and reserve such portion of the public lands located within the Province of Rizal as may be necessary and convenient for the establishment of the school and farm sites.
SECTION 3. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school for the current fiscal year. Thereafter, the necessary sum for such purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Acts.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
