REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5228
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL OF CRAFTSMANSHIP AND HOME INDUSTRIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TANAUAN, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established in the Municipality of Tanauan, Province of Leyte, a school of craftsmanship and home industries to be known as the Tanauan School of Craftsmanship and Home Industries. cd
SECTION 2. Subject to the approval of the Secretary of Education, the Director of Vocational Education is hereby authorized to issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school, including the purchase of site, for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine. Thereafter, the sums necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. aisa dc
