REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6465
AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF THE REGISTER OF DEEDS FOR THE THIRD REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL WITH PERMANENT OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HIMAMAYLAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There is hereby established the Office of the Register of Deeds for the Third Representative District of Negros Occidental with permanent office in the Municipality of Himamaylan, Province of Negros Occidental, which shall perform all the duties and functions of the Register of Deeds exclusively for the Third Representative District of Negros Occidental.
SECTION 2. The Register of Deeds for the Third Representative District of Negros Occidental shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Secretary of Justice.
SECTION 3. The Register of Deeds for Bacolod City shall immediately transfer and turn over to the Register of Deeds for the Third Representative District all documents pertaining to properties and transactions within the said district.
SECTION 4. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said office during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-one. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. acd
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
