Establishment of Minalungao National Park
Republic Act No. 5100, enacted on June 17, 1967, establishes the Minalungao National Park in Nueva Ecija, covering an area of approximately 2,018 hectares. The Act withdraws this land from sale, settlement, or other dispositions while respecting existing private rights. It allocates ?150,000 for the park's development and recreational facilities for the fiscal year 1968, with future maintenance funding to be included in the annual budget. The law took effect immediately upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on March 17, 1969.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE MINALUNGAO NATIONAL PARK
SECTION 1. A parcel of the public domain situated in the municipalities of Gapan and General Tinio, Province of Nueva Ecija, is hereby declared as the Minalungao National Park. The following is its technical description:

SECTION 2.The Minalungao National Park shall be withdrawn from sale, settlement, or other disposition, subject to any existing private rights.
SECTION 3.The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the construction and development of recreational facilities in said park for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-eight. The sum necessary for its maintenance in subsequent fiscal years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4.This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
