Establishment of Community Hospital in Culaba, Biliran Sub-Province, Leyte
Batas Pambansa Blg. 637, enacted on June 24, 1983, establishes the Culaba Community Hospital in the Municipality of Culaba, Biliran Province, with a capacity of ten beds and secondary level medical capabilities. The hospital will operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and is funded with an initial appropriation of up to 750,000 pesos from previously authorized funds for new or expanded hospitals. Future operational and maintenance costs will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on May 14, 1984.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL WITH A TEN-BED CAPACITY AND SECONDARY LEVEL CAPABILITY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CULABA, SUB-PROVINCE OF BILIRAN, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE CULABA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Health, a ten-bed municipal hospital in the Municipality of Culaba, Sub-province of Biliran, Province of Leyte, to be known as the Culaba Community Hospital.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
