SUBJECT : Establishment of the Coconut Research and Development Institute

 

In line with the efforts of the government to revitalize the coconut industry and considering the need to harmonize and strengthen the various efforts of the different institutions and agencies on coconut research and development for greater economic impact, you are hereby directed to submit a proposal for the establishment of Philippine Coconut Research and Development Institute which will be private sector operated. cd

In this regard, you are hereby constituted as a Committee, with the Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology as Chairman, to undertake the above task and submit the proposal on or before July 31, 1996 through the Science and Technology Coordinating Council (STCC), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Bicutan, Taguig, Metro Manila (Tel/Fax: 837-29-32).
