REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3440
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANCHEZ MIRA, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Schools, a school of arts and trades in the Municipality of Sanchez Mira, Province of Cagayan, to be known as the Coastal Towns School of Arts and Trades. Courses of secondary level shall be offered in said school. aisa dc
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-two. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cd
