REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4656
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A GENERAL HOSPITAL WITH A SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ARGAO, PROVINCE OF CEBU, TO BE KNOWN AS CEBU SOUTH GENERAL HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, a general hospital with a school of nursing and midwifery in the Municipality of Argao, Province of Cebu, to be known as Cebu South General Hospital. The bed capacity of this hospital shall be one hundred beds.
SECTION 2. The sum of four hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purposes of this Act during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act: Provided, however, That should current negotiations with foreign private financing groups go through, the construction of the hospital buildings and other necessary facilities therein, shall be included under the foreign private financing program that may be adopted by the President, upon recommendation by the Secretary of Health.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
