Establishment of Cayangwan National High School in Makato, Aklan

Republic Act No. 8035, enacted on June 5, 1995, establishes the Cayangwan National High School by separating the Calimbajan Tina Barangay High School Annex from the Calimbajan Barangay High School in Makato, Aklan. This act designates the annex as an independent national high school and mandates the transfer of all personnel, records, assets, and liabilities to the new institution. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports is responsible for issuing necessary regulations to implement the law. Funding for the new school will be allocated in the General Appropriations Act in the subsequent year following the law's enactment. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on September 4, 1995.

AN ACT SEPARATING THE CALIMBAJAN TINA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX IN BARANGAY CAYANGWAN, MAKATO, AKLAN, FROM THE CALIMBAJAN BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL, IN BARANGAY CALIMBAJAN, AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE CAYANGWAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The Calimbajan Tina Barangay High School Annex in Barangay Cayangwan, Makato, Aklan, is hereby separated from the Calimbajan Barangay High School in Barangay Calimbajan, and converted into an independent national high school, to be known as the Cayangwan National High School.

SECTION 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.

SECTION 3. All personnel, records, assets and liabilities of the Calimbajan Tina Barangay High School Annex are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Cayangwan National High School. cdt

SECTION 4. The amount necessary to carry out provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
