REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3437

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALLEN, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BALICUATRO NATIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Schools, a national vocational high school in the Municipality of Allen, Province of Samar, to be known as the Balicuatro National Vocational High School. This school shall offer courses in secondary agriculture, trade and fishery. aisa dc

SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. cdt

SECTION 3. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said high school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-two. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
