REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7779
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY ASTORGA, MUNICIPALITY OF ALANGALANG, PROVINCE OF LEYTE TO BE KNOWN AS THE ASTORGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school in Barangay Astorga, Municipality of Alangalang, Province of Leyte, to be known as the Astorga National High School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. cd
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Republic Act No. 7663 for the Department of Education, Culture and Sports intended for the operational expenses of newly legislated high schools. Thereafter, the amount needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
