Republic Act No. 4964, enacted on June 17, 1967, establishes the San Emilio Emergency Hospital in the Municipality of San Emilio, Ilocos Sur, under the supervision of the Medical Services. The law authorizes the appropriation of 200,000 pesos from the National Treasury for the hospital's establishment, operation, and maintenance for the fiscal year 1967. Future funding for its operation and maintenance will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 24, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4964

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN EMILIO, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Medical Services, an emergency hospital in the Municipality of San Emilio, Province of Ilocos Sur, to be known as San Emilio Emergency Hospital.

SECTION 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
