Batas Pambansa Blg. 182, enacted on March 5, 1982, establishes the Bondoc Peninsula Agricultural High School in Quezon Province, Philippines. The school will be supervised by the Bureau of Secondary Education and can be located on either public or donated private land within specified municipalities. An initial funding of three hundred thousand pesos is allocated for its operation, with the local government responsible for ongoing costs. AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BONDOC PENINSULA, QUEZON PROVINCE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BONDOC PENINSULA AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of the Bureau of Secondary Education a national agricultural high school in Bondoc Peninsula, Quezon Province, in any of the following municipalities: Catanauan, Mulanay, San Francisco, San Narciso, or San Andres, to be known as the Bondoc Peninsula Agricultural High School. The site for the said institution shall be either in a public land of any said municipalities, which is hereby set aside for this purpose, to be determined by the said Director in consultation with the Director of Lands, or in a private land in any of said municipalities donated or acquired by purchase for the purpose.
SECTION 2. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Secondary Education, the President shall set aside and reserve such portion of the public land located in any of said municipalities of said province as may be necessary and convenient for the establishment of the school and farm site.
SECTION 3. The amount of three hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 80 and Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national high schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Starting Calendar Year 1983, such sum as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the school shall be provided in the annual General Appropriations Act. cSTCDA
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
